Dr. Baker is a proud North Raleigh native who pursued his passion for healthcare by earning a degree in Biomedical Engineering from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He continued his education at the UNC School of Dentistry, where he completed his Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS). After practicing in Chapel Hill for several years, Dr. Baker returned to the Wake Forest area in 2019 to join Dr. Upton’s practice.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Baker enjoys life with his wife, Anne, a skilled pediatric dentist practicing nearby and their two wonderful children, Lily and Gray. In his free time, he loves traveling, snowboarding, reading, and cheering on the Tar Heels during sports season.

A member of both the American Dental Association and the North Carolina Dental Society, Dr. Baker is deeply committed to providing exceptional care for his patients. His dedication to service extends beyond the office; he has volunteered at free clinics across North Carolina and participated in international dental mission trips to Honduras, Peru, and Nepal.

Dr. Baker combines his technical expertise with a genuine passion for patient care, ensuring every individual he treats receives the highest standard of dental health and compassion.
